REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university. Proof of graduation and qualifying degree and/or coursework will be required upon appointment to this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Accountant, the Administrative Interns will perform accounting duties, such as, but not limited to:
(1) Accounts Receivable – Billing, collections and ensuring accurate financial records. They generate and send invoices, track outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow. This role involves reconciling the accounts receivable ledger, resolving billing discrepancies, and collaborating with internal units and other departments to address payment issues. Additionally, they prepare financial reports related to receivables and help improve collection processes.
(2) Accounts Payable – Processing and verifying vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments in accordance with department policies and vendor terms. They reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized financial records to support audits and daily/month-end close activities. This role also involves communicating with vendors and collaborating with internal units and other departments to address payment issues. Additionally, they prepare financial
reports related to accounts payable and help improve payment processes.
(1) Cash Receipts – Accurately recording and reconciling incoming payments, ensuring that all cash, check, and electronic receipts are properly documented and deposited. They maintain detailed records of transactions, prepare bank deposits, and reconcile bank statements to ensure consistency between internal records and financial institutions. This role also involves resolving discrepancies, supporting daily and month-end close activities, and collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
