The Power Construction and Maintenance (PCM) Division intends to fill two (2)Senior Administrative Clerk positions in the Electrical Construction (EC)Section.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Performs timekeeping duties which include gathering, evaluating, coding, and inputting daily labor and fleet information into Workday. Reviews and corrects various payroll and timekeeping documents; answers inquiries regarding Memoranda of Understanding (MOU),LADWP Working Rules and Policies, and Civil Service Rules. Prepares and processes personnel transactions and maintains personnel records as they relate to hiring, reassignment, transfers, discipline, and termination.
•Performs a wide variety of responsible clerical duties requiringfrequent use of independent judgement and discretion. Schedules,coordinates, and inputs training into Cornerstone; orders andmaintains stationary supplies. Updates and maintains officeprocedural manuals, forms and templates; types and edits letters,memoranda, and reports of technical or confidential in nature.
•Processes monthly purchasing card reports. Certifies and processesinvoices; handles approved transactions for a Trust Fund; preparesTravel Plans and Expense Reports utilizing the LADWP Travel andExpense System (XM); handles petty cash; distributes checks; andsorts mail. Maintains files of all related documentation
•Performs other related duties.
