· Provides
general clerical support for Real Estate Services Section.
· Prepares
and processes correspondence, encroachment requests, licenses, deeds, board
letters, resolutions, ordinances, Agreements, and petty cash statements.
· Reviews,
prepares, and processes requisitions, sub-purchase orders, invoices, and
leases; prepares journal vouchers and various accounting documents; resolves
payment issues.
·Collects
information, files, updates, and maintains documents and databases; inputs Real
Estate files/documents and pertinent data in appropriate databases.
·Performs
timekeeping and audits of timekeeping records. Prepares and processes personnel
transactions and related documents.
·Supports
Real Estate auctions and contract-related meetings.
·Provides
assistance to the public and Los Angeles Department of Water & Power
employees at the public counter, including requests for encroachment, viewing
documents, and miscellaneous real estate related documents and information.
·Reviews
and prepares Real Estate files for Records Retention; maintains working files.
·Assembles
materials for mailing or shipping; picks up and distributes mail and documents
at the work location and at outlying City and Department locations.
·Prepares
monthly and annual reports.
·May
serve as Service Pin Coordinator.
·Cross
training and back up relief may be required based on operating needs.
·Perform
other related duties.
