LADWP intends to fill one Senior Administrative Clerk position in the Executive Office of the Communications & Community Affairs Division.
This position will report directly to the Utility Executive Secretary, and will be responsible for duties that may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare, review, and assist with assembly of correspondence, memos, and Board Packages.
- Create, edit, proofread, and revise documents for accuracy, consistency and in conformance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain office files (FileNet) and perform records retention functions.
- Prepare and review travel plans and expense reports in Extensity.
- Work in conjunction with other clerical personnel providing support for managers and supervisors in Customer Service, Communications and Community Affairs.
- Pick-up, distribute, sort, and file mail for delivery.
- Track Internal & External Communications Division Translations.
- Serve as back-up to the primary timekeeper, performing timekeeping duties that include, but are not limited to: the preparation and posting of time in Worktech and the Employee Information System (EIS); prepare, review, correct and maintain various timekeeping documents; perform timekeeping audits related to payroll reports; generate Personnel Action Notice(PANS);process, maintain, input, and validate personnel transactions using the Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
- Serve as back-up Personnel Clerk and P-Card Coordinator.
- Assist in trust fund activities including issuing checks, preparing checks for mailing, requesting reimbursements, verifying trust fund balances, and other related trust fund activities.
- Process and track monthly mileage reimbursements and prepare daily newsclips for the Department.
- May go up on Article 33 in the absence of the Utility Executive Secretary.
- May perform department sponsored special projects and other related duties, as required.
A valid California Driver’s License and a good driving record are required and must be maintained during employment.
