BACKGROUND

The Los Angeles City Fire Department has a transfer opportunity for five (5) Senior Administrative Clerk positions or Administrative Clerk in-lieu. The Senior Administrative Clerk positions will be assigned to the Department’s Equity and Human Resources Bureau / Human Resources Division / Personnel Services Section.

WORK SCHEDULE

The Fire Personnel Services Section offers 5/40, 9/80, 4/10 work schedules and has implemented a hybrid telecommuting program, which allows some classifications a minimum of two (2) in-office work days per week, and on the remaining workdays, employees may telecommute, provided that the employee has passed their probationary period. The specific in-office days are flexible and will be coordinated with Executive Management and based on operational needs. The hybrid telecommuting program is subject to change.

Additionally, we are considering Administrative Clerks (Code 1358) for this position as an in-lieu option, with a starting hourly pay of $21.70.
