The Los Angeles City Fire Department has a transfer/paygrade appointment opportunity for Commission Executive Assistant II (9734-2). The Commission Executive Assistant II will be assigned to the Fire Commission Office. The Commission Executive Assistant II reports directly to the Board and is responsible for coordinating administrative actions and procedures with the Commission, Independent Assessor, Fire Chief or other administrative staff of the department.  Incumbent receives assignments that are broad or complex with minimal supervision, must work with timelines, and be able to accommodate interruptions. The work is not subject to review and must adhere to policy and soundness, as errors may invalidate commission action and reflect adversely on the work of the commission/department.
