The duties include: supporting senior managers; accessing Department data systems and resources to retrieve, research, assemble, analyze, and interpret information; preparing correspondence and reports with recommendations to management; exercising independent judgement in the preparation of comprehensive statistical reports; working with the Resource Management Bureau to prepare responses to various information and report requests from the Mayor and City Council; and preparing supporting budget documentation. One of the positions will assist in recruitment activities, including participation in job fairs at colleges, conferences, and special events; outreach to colleges and organizations to build a recruiting presence; recruitment activities using social media, job boards, and other online platforms; collaboration with other City departments on various recruitment efforts; recruitment research and reporting; and employee engagement projects.
