The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) is offering qualified candidates a transfer opportunity for Systems Analyst position in its Technology Services Bureau. LADBS is committed to protecting the lives and safety of the residents and visitors of the City of Los Angeles and enhancing the quality of life, housing, economic prosperity, and job creation citywide. Utilizing timely, cooperative, and transparent processes, the Department Advises, Guides, and Assists Customers to achieve compliance with the Building, Zoning, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Disabled Access, Energy, and Green codes and local and State law to Build Safe, Well, and Fast.
The Systems Analyst will plan, develop, coordinate, implement, and support the activities and operations related to the Department’s technology needs including developing and maintaining a variety of complex applications for the multiuser and server-based computer systems, network, website, desktop applications; provides desktop and application support; installs and maintains computer operating system and applications software; performs a variety of complex technical duties in the installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of computer hardware and software; and does related work as required.
