The Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) is filling one (1) Management Analyst II position in the Enterprise Resource Planning Project Management Office (ERP PMO) group. The position will be located at 221 North Figueroa Street, 15th Floor. The available schedule is 5/40 or 9/80 (with a 1st Friday ASDO only) with a start time between 
6:30 AM and 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday, in accordance with ITSD's core business hours. 

This Management Analyst II position will serve as the ERP Program Organizational Change Management (OCM) team Training Coordinator. The position will receive directions from a Utility Administrator. 
The duties of the positions include, but are not limited, to the following: 
  • Coordinate and schedule training and delivery of ERP training modules and materials
  • Interface with Division training coordinators across the Department to deliver ERP OCM training within project timelines
  • Maintain ongoing new employee trainings and yearly refresher training schedules
  • Support training efforts by tracking training resources with necessary corrections/revisions after internal Workday bi-annual system updates
  • Support the review and approval of training deliverables
  • Support the Change Management team training efforts with delivery logistics including room reservations, course registration, technical setup, maintenance during delivery, material printing and Learning Management System (LMS) support (Currently Cornerstone) 
  • Load training materials and test for functionality in LMS
  • Communicate and update training schedules, as changes occur, with appropriate representatives across the Department and facilitate efficient completion of training curricula
  • Work with OCM team Training Lead to design and monitor metrics as prescribed in ERP Program Charter
  • Support communications and training development
  • Assist and participate in the delivery of change management meetings, presentations, and reports
  • Support ERP governance support activities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned; May be required to report to other locations to perform daily work.
Minimum requirements: Interested candidates must currently be in the class of Management Analyst. 

Work location may change to accommodate business needs. During the temporary telecommute schedule in place, employees may have to share and alternately use a work space(s) on their respective onsite days. Overtime and some travel may be required. A valid California Driver's License is required and must be maintained during the course of employment. 

Candidates will be evaluated for the following work related skills, knowledge, abilities: 
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively orally or in writing
  • Ability to analyze, process, and present a wide array of project information and data virtually, via WebEx, or in person using Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and other department systems
  • Ability to work independently while working effectively with staff at various project levels in the Department and the City
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex material, prepare reports, and make sound recommendations
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work assignments to meet multiple deadlines, and take initiative
  • Ability to tactfully handle confidential and/or sensitive information and issues
  • Knowledge of LADWP's policies, procedures, and practices
  • Knowledge of LADWP's budget process, cost accounting, and expense systems
  • Knowledge of City and LADWP employment and EEO policies, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of personnel rules, policies, procedures, and authoritative documents, such as the City Charter, Civil Service Rules, Administrative Manuals and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs)
The evaluation of candidates for these positions may be based on a review of training and experience as presented on the resume/application and an interview. Due consideration will be given to attendance records. A written skills test may be administered. A background check will be conducted, including a review of attendance records or personnel folders.
